CONCEPT:
´Antagony' is a Virtual Reality Live Performance for one interpreter, composed by 3 movements and 7 animated 3D scenes.
For the first movement, the interpreter performs with an electroacoustic handmade harp - modified with electric bass and piano strings - and vocals, while the interpreter shares what he sees in the 3D world [the organic score and narrative] in the stage projection.

And for the 2nd and 3rd movement, with the *Holophrenic Orchestrator, a performative interface of virtual reality and real-time sound composition, the interpreter performs inside the video game engine, using Oculus Touch Controllers and Physics to call a sound database with a wide range of prerecorded synthesized sounds and arrangments of instruments.

* The invention and use of the Holophrenic term, is a game derived from the word holography (whole, complete ...) and schizophrenia (to divide, split, or break the understanding, reason, or the mind).

The story of Antagony takes place in a hallucinogenic and strange version of the planet Mars, where the only inhabitant — a geneticist on a special mission —, receives the news of the end of the world as the last communication with planet Earth.
While accelerates the results of the investigation to save the future of humanity mixing his own DNA with minerals, plants, and animals via mycosis, as a sole individual he lacks collective understanding of humanity and society, and wanders between the nothingness of nihilism and the edges of the precipice of post-humanist deception in the search for clarity, experimental metaphysics, and our creative capacities as thinking beasts.

The virtuality approach of the live musical performance is a ritualistic immersive view of his last dreams and feelings before death.

The untold story resembles the failure of a society full of ideologies that never correspond to references of reality but only to imaginary obsessions of control.
This antagony entails inhuman values of empowered entities that lead into destructive and vile decisions accepted by a great majority, often in the name of acquisition and money. Manipulation of history eroding memory and motivating the never-ending list of unlisted genocides is the biggest example.

The contrast between human intelligence and the absence of collective consciousness as individuals and dysfunctional societies inspires abstractly the music composted and interpreted as an organic-matter
